Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg prawns
- 1/2cup small onion and 1 big onion
- 1/2tsb turmeric powder
- 1tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 3-4 tsp pepper powder
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 1/2 coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
To Marinate
clean prawns and then add 1 tsp turmeric powder and 1tsp chilli powder(optional as we are gonna add pepper powder). salt as per requirement. add chilli powder and then add 1tsp of coriander powder and garam masala powder and 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste mix well. let it soak for 20 to 30 minutes
Preparation:
switch on the stove. Hope you guys forget that :p . Let the pan heat and then add prawns. prawn secrets water, let it cook in its own water. please don't add oil or water to cook it. Let it roast for 2 to 3 minutes, remember, prawn will become rubber if it gets overcooked so be cautious.Switch off the stove and keep the prawn aside.
Take another pan .Once pan gets heated. Add 3 to 5 tsp of groundnut oil .Add cumin powder. Add the small onions and the big onion, you can use small onions alone if you wish, It gives awesome flavor to prawn. fry it till the onion becomes golden brown. Add salt as per requirement. you can also add 1 tomato if you want more masala (optional). add ginger garlic paste and toss it for 2 minutes until the smell fads .Add garam masala powder, coriander powder and then add roasted prawns, fry it for 2 minutes and then add pepper powder. let it cook for 2 more minutes and then add curry leaves and switch off the stove. That's it. hot and spicy Miffy prawn roast is ready :)
